LED Throwies are an inexpensive way to add color to any ferromagnetic surface in your neighborhood. A Throwie consists of a lithium battery, a 10mm diffused LED and a rare-earth magnet taped together. Throw it up high and in quantity to impress your friends and city officials.

Very cool. I wonder if he added glue or something to make them stick to the walls. Magnets would only work on metallic surfaces...

Either way that's cool. I wonder how long the batteries last? LEDs don't really use much power (allot less than light bulbs, anyway...).

Do you think they could get a week or two out of those little things?

leds would way outlast the time it takes for someone to take em down. unfortunately.
